Lessons from the past two seasons might be popping up today for integration. As the moon makes its journey through the final decan of Scorpio and readies us for Tuesday’s New Moon in Sagittarius, higher levels of integration are at play from the lessons we learned through Libra and Scorpio.

All the mutable signs provide us with a chance to integrate the lessons from the cardinal and fixed energies that precede them. Each mutable sign works at integrating, in accordance with its element.

Although Sagittarius is a fire sign, it’s secondary element is water. We see this depicted in the tarot with the Temperance card, which is the major arcana representation of Sagittarius energy. The angel has one foot touching the land, and the other foot fully submerged in the waters, as she passes water back and forth between two cups. She is making something ready by way of the “tempering” of the waters.

Sagittarius also has “earth angel” associations. This is why the Temperance card has an angel as it main character. The word “Sagittarius” also breaks down numerically to “144,” when its letters are added up using gematria. This is another indication of the sign’s devine duty in bringing to Earth what has been written in the “heavens.”

It could be intuited that Sagittarius energy is here to bring forth high activations of light from the “heavens” onto the Earth, and it does so by making our waters ready to receive and then birth these activations materially. Sagittarius is the sign through which our angelic DNA is able to be activated, and our light bodies are therefore able to move in response to those light activations.
