The process of rebirth is scary. Whenever we choose to break out of a pattern, habit, or cycle, the resistance that has kept us locked or boxed in, will always seem to come in more powerfully.

This corridor between last week’s Full Moon in Leo, and next week’s New Moon in Aquarius is especially difficult for this reason. We are being challenged to let go of stories of woundedness that many of us have been inscribed with generationally, and across incarnations.

In our cellular memories, we hold the imprint of our own experiences of trauma across lifetimes, as well as those belonging to our mothers and foremothers. We have carried a lot of ancestral and inter-generational pain in our biofields, and when we have not known how to release it entirely, we have worn that pain as a shield to protect us from others who might dare to hurt us again.

And it is exhausting.

It is tiring to have to fight battles that you aren’t even aware you’re in, until you see the wounds that can only be born from actively being in war.
